General information, not an individual diagnosis. Ask a healthcare professional if you are unsure about your situation.

MaPrimeAdapt’ is an Anah grant for adapting a main home to loss of independence. Eligibility depends in particular on the person’s situation, the home and resources.

The scheme covers, among others, owner-occupiers and tenants in private housing. A tenant needs the landlord’s agreement for adaptation work; check the other applicable conditions.

Before committing to work, Service Public recommends contacting a France Rénov’ adviser. Prepare a description of difficulties in the home and your latest tax notice.

An Anah-approved or authorised project adviser supports the project, including the home independence assessment and work preparation. Ask how this support will be organised before submitting the application.

The grant application is submitted online to Anah. Service Public says to receive Anah’s approval awarding MaPrimeAdapt’ before having work carried out; submission is not approval.

After the work, tradespeople’s invoices are sent to Anah to request payment, with the adviser’s help. Ask which documents are needed and how the completed work must match the quotation.
