A home APA support plan reflects a situation assessed at a particular time. If your needs change, you can request a reassessment rather than assuming the plan will change on its own.
A change in your personal or financial circumstances can justify this request. A change in the carer’s personal situation can also be taken into account.
The beneficiary, their legal representative or a carer can request reassessment. Prepare examples of what has changed and of support that has become difficult or insufficient.

Once a complete file is received, the request may be examined urgently or within two months depending on the circumstances. Ask how to explain your situation and follow the application.
A revision can change the support plan and the amount of APA. If a decision reduces the amount and you dispute it, ask about the prior appeal and deadline stated in the notification.
