General information, not an individual diagnosis. Ask a healthcare professional if you are unsure about your situation.
After a new injection at a pharmacy, ask where its written record was saved. The French Public Health Code requires the pharmacist to enter it in the health booklet, vaccination record or shared medical record. Mon espace santé also includes a digital vaccination record.
The information includes the professional’s practising first and last names, the vaccine administered, the administration date and the batch number. These identify the procedure; an appointment date alone does not replace them.
If the information is not entered in the record, the professional must give you a vaccination certificate containing the same details. Ask before leaving, or contact the vaccination provider if you cannot find any record.
The vaccination record can also contain the date of a next vaccination when one is planned. Ask which follow-up applies to you: a new recorded injection is not enough to decide on a booster or schedule yourself.
When there is no shared medical record and with your consent, the pharmacist sends the information to your treating doctor. The Code provides for secure health messaging where available. Ask how sharing is arranged; do not assume all previous vaccinations automatically appear in Mon espace santé.
Keep the certificate with your health documents and bring it for future vaccination checks. If a name, date or batch seems incorrect, ask the professional who performed the injection to check it rather than amend it from memory.
