General information, not an individual diagnosis. Ask a healthcare professional if you are unsure about your situation.
Start with two dates: the observation period and publication. The bulletin published on 7 October 2026 covers 28 September to 4 October, rather than observations made only on publication day.
Identify what is counted: consultations, emergency visits, hospital admissions or positive samples. These indicators describe different situations; also read the unit and the network supplying the data.
A positivity rate relates positive results to the samples concerned. It is not the proportion of all residents who are infected. A percentage needs its reference population to be understood.
Check the area, age group and period before comparing graphs. The bulletin summarises trends; the Odissé platform offers detailed indicators and their filters when available.
Virus circulation and use of healthcare are different measures. A regional map or population result cannot identify the virus causing your symptoms; that question needs individual assessment.
When asking for an explanation, keep the link, week and exact indicator name. If you have symptoms, seek appropriate medical advice without waiting for the next bulletin or a prevention appointment.
