General information, not an individual diagnosis. Ask a healthcare professional if you are unsure about your situation.

Do you assume that your childhood vaccinations are still sufficient, but cannot find the date of your last booster? Follow-up for diphtheria, tetanus and polio continues during adulthood, beyond the childhood vaccination record.

Protection from some vaccines does not last for life. The French schedule includes DTP boosters at particular age milestones; a healthcare professional considers both your age and your documented vaccination history when reviewing this.

Gather your health or vaccination record and any available evidence of recent vaccinations. One injection may cover several diseases. Ask what is documented rather than trying to infer its contents from your memory of the appointment.

If a date is missing or a booster was missed, say so. A professional assesses any catch-up needed using the available information; this is not a reason to decide independently that everything must be restarted.

At the end of the discussion, ask what the agreed next step is and where a completed vaccination will be recorded. Keeping a verifiable date helps next time. A recent wound needs appropriate assessment without waiting for routine follow-up.

You can also prepare general health questions for a prevention conversation. The Mon bilan prévention page explains its conditions; vaccination status still requires its own assessment by a healthcare professional.

Flu and Covid-19: the 2026–2027 campaign

The national flu and Covid-19 vaccination campaign starts on 13 October 2026. In Doctolib, choose “Vaccination antigrippale (Grippe)” or “Vaccination COVID-19” for the vaccination you want to discuss.

Bring your carte Vitale and, for flu, your coverage voucher if you have one. The professional checks the recommendations and coverage conditions that apply to you.

The pharmacy checks whether vaccination and coverage apply based on the vaccine, your age and your circumstances.
