General information, not an individual diagnosis. Ask a healthcare professional if you are unsure about your situation.

In a warehouse, pedestrian and vehicle routes can cross. The employer must assess the risks with the workers concerned.

INRS recommends separating pedestrian flows from vehicle and equipment traffic areas inside and around the warehouse.

Physical protection for pedestrian aisles and reception areas separate from pedestrian routes are examples of possible arrangements.

Organisation also seeks to avoid crossings, for example through one-way outside traffic where appropriate.

At loading bays, space, lighting and floor condition are among the points to assess when organising loading and unloading.

Describe actual routes and deliveries with the team. Clarify which rules apply to people from outside companies.
