General information, not an individual diagnosis. Ask a healthcare professional if you are unsure about your situation.

Itching mainly at night, sometimes affecting several close contacts, can suggest scabies. It does not establish the diagnosis: a medical consultation is needed.

Common scabies spreads mainly through prolonged skin contact. It can affect anyone, regardless of personal hygiene or social background, so avoid blaming the person.

After confirmation, list close contacts from recent weeks: the doctor decides who should be treated together.

Inform relevant contacts and group settings. Clarify contact restrictions and arrangements for resuming activities.

Clarify the laundry instructions: sheets, clothes, towels and delicate fabrics are part of the plan.

Itching can continue after treatment without proving failure. If it is intense or persists, contact the doctor again before repeating treatment on your own.
