If pregnancy occurs during treatment, the PROCUTA and CURACNÉ leaflets require immediate cessation and medical contact.

Pregnancy within the month after stopping also requires medical contact. Oral isotretinoin can cause serious malformations in the unborn child.

Both leaflets prohibit blood donation during treatment and for the month after it ends, to protect a possible pregnant recipient.

The blood donation restriction applies to treated patients, including men. The risk concerns the unborn child of a pregnant recipient.

Never share the capsules with another person, even if their symptoms resemble yours. The medicine was prescribed for you personally.

At the end of treatment, return all unused capsules to the pharmacist. Both leaflets require this return instead of passing them to someone else.
