General information, not an individual diagnosis. Ask a healthcare professional if you are unsure about your situation.

Before handling your lenses, wash and thoroughly dry your hands. Check each lens and never use one that is damaged, scratched or torn.

Use the appropriate solution recommended for your lenses. Tap water, mineral water and saliva must not be used to rinse or store them.

Clean the case with the intended lens solution, wipe it and leave it open to dry. Replace it regularly and follow your lens care instructions.

Remove your lenses for showering, swimming pools and freshwater bathing. Keep suitable prescription glasses available so that you can use them when needed.

If your eyes become red, painful or irritated, remove the lenses. Discomfort that continues after removal needs advice from a healthcare professional.

See an ophthalmologist that day if the eye is red and painful with blurred vision, or if light becomes difficult to tolerate. Explain your symptoms.
