General information, not an individual diagnosis. Ask a healthcare professional if you are unsure about your situation.

If you already use ALOPEXY 2%, its leaflet describes a risk to children exposed to treated areas. This advice concerns this specific product.

Wash your hands thoroughly before and after application. Ensure a child does not touch areas of your body where minoxidil has been applied.

Keep the bottle out of the sight and reach of children. Accidental swallowing can cause serious heart-related effects.

If excessive body hair appears on your child while you use the product, consult a doctor and explain which product you use.

For suspected swallowing, call a poison centre immediately even without symptoms; if the child is unconscious, call 15 or 112 in France. Do not induce vomiting.

Keep the packaging to provide the exact name during a call. Review application and safe storage with your pharmacist to prevent access to the bottle and contact with treated areas.
