General information, not an individual diagnosis. Ask a healthcare professional if you are unsure about your situation.
The patient leaflet gives information for the person using a medicine. Its official online version can help you recover a missing document or return to a passage you want to understand.
Search France’s public medicines database using the name on the box. Compare the complete product name and pharmaceutical form; a similar name alone does not identify the correct leaflet.
Open the patient leaflet. The summary of product characteristics, or RCP in French, is intended mainly for professionals. If one document covers several products, find the part matching yours exactly.
Locate the information before use, instructions for use and possible side effects. Driving and machinery have their own subsection. Then read all the sections, rather than relying on a single extracted sentence.
Check the leaflet’s update date, which is separate from the database’s update date. If something remains unclear, note the wording and section so you can ask a health professional to explain.
Reading helps prepare questions. For other everyday prevention habits, you can also explore our Mon bilan prévention page if you wish.
