General information, not an individual diagnosis. Ask a healthcare professional if you are unsure about your situation.
PCH parentalité helps some parents with disabilities carry out their role with their child. It supplements the disability compensation benefit PCH and is not a stand-alone benefit.
Human assistance may help pay someone to support daily activities with a child. Technical assistance concerns, for example, buying or adapting equipment such as a changing table or adapted pushchair.
The two forms have different conditions, including the PCH component already received and the child’s age. They can be combined; check with the MDPH which conditions fit your situation.
If you already receive PCH, Service Public describes a form dedicated to PCH parentalité. Attach the required documents, including a birth certificate extract for each child concerned.
If you are applying for ordinary PCH at the same time, also state your request for PCH parentalité in the free-text daily-life section of the form or online service. The MDPH can clarify the documents required.
The application can be prepared before birth; in that case, the birth certificate extract must be sent after the child is born. Ask the MDPH which conditions and steps apply to your file.
