General information, not an individual diagnosis. Ask a healthcare professional if you are unsure about your situation.

If you receive a disability pension, certain changes must be reported to your health insurance fund. This helps keep your file current and prevent payment difficulties.

A change of address, name or bank, or the arrival of a child, can be reported through your ameli account with supporting documents. When changing banks, Ameli advises keeping the old account open until the first payment reaches the new one.

You can return to work while receiving a pension. Ameli asks you to inform the fund by letter of the return and any change in resources; the amount may be reduced or suspended under the applicable accumulation rules.

New resources, such as certain pensions or annuities, must be reported in the resources declaration. Ask the fund how they are taken into account instead of assuming the pension will remain unchanged.

If your health improves or worsens, you can report this to the medical service with a certificate from your usual doctor or a simple letter. The category and pension may be revised after review.

If you are preparing for retirement, contact your pension fund and inform your health insurance fund. Applying for retirement is a step you must take; replacement of the pension is not automatic.
